“National Moment of Remembrance”

Memorial Day.

“National Moment of Remembrance” resolution was passed in December 2000, which asks that at 3 p.m. local

time all Americans:

“Voluntarily and informally observe in their own way a moment of remembrance and respect, pausing from

whatever they are doing for a moment of silence .” On memorial day.

This is an image I took for a project at school this last semester

of the

Los Angeles National Cemetery.

Daddy Visit-Project 267

In the syllabus it asked my thoughts on gun control but,

more on that project later. Look at the rows and rows of tomb stones!

I felt a calm come over me when I shot this image.  It was peaceful and so sad

at the same time. I would like to say that my family and I are so

grateful for the men and women who have fought for our country! If it wasn’t for

them we would not have so much freedom and such a blessed life!

Have a wonderful weekend!
