The unexpected..

When I style or design, I love to use something unexpected!
I am an ANIMAL LOVER!
Bleaced antlers are a crazy favorite of mine right now.
I like to believe these pictures of antlers, are those of animals that passed away a natural death, out to pasture somewhere peaceful!

Great reproductions are out there!

  1. I really like that you use things you love in your work Lulu, and although I am not really an antler kind of girl, these bleached ones are a lovely colour, I have never seen such things before. I love the gorgeous white chair in the first pic too:) ~ Tina x

  2. What a fabulous light!! That's the greatest. I saw some antlers used on a tv makeover show recently used as a custome jewellery stand. It was very nice too :-)
    Have a great day!

  4. Deer sheds have been getting very popular lately! I think they look great arranged in a big wooden dough bowl also! The first and last pictures are dreamy!!

  5. I am with you on loving the antlers. Deer sheds are hard to come by. Moose sheds, their antlers are called paddles, are a bit easier in the Montana region. I love your second pic. I am looking for a pair to do this with. My husband is a hunter though and to him that is not right spraying a pair of antlers white!

  9. I have a friend who carried a four foot antler back on a 6 hour hike down a mountain side. It's pretty spectacular! Your mirrors are beautiful - I'm addicted to mirrors. Sorry you were sick on Valantines day - that's is a drag.
