Hi there!
It is a wonderful gloomy, rainy December day
today in Cali, and I wanted to capture it. I have been
busy with finals this week and whewww, I am done!
It is the best feeling. Can’t wait for next semester.
I have been redecorating a bit, I moved that big
antique tin mirror I had here and replaced with this
old door. Gorgeous patina.
Look at those antique white skies in the image above!!!
I found them for 5 dollars!
The weather got me in the mood for some more decorating
and cooking!
I made this wreath using fresh garland, an antique horn,
vintage ornaments and tied
it with burlap and vintage lace.
I have been cooking stew and the house is filled with an
aroma of food and the warmth of Christmas!
The day after Thanksgiving we went to Underwood Family Farms
to get our tree. I will share that with you in another post.
I love fresh trees and garland. The whole house smells soo
good.
I try and collect vintage ornaments whenever I go to
a flea market! I love the patina and craftsmanship.
I enjoy using antique religious figurines whenever I
can. I placed candles, vintage small white trees, ornaments
on this old architectural column top.
Faux snow is fun to use.
Love this vintage book
of The Seasons Greetings.
Have to add a antique snowman!
I will be back this week with some more
inspirational
Christmas images.
THIS IS MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR!!!
Have a wonderful week!
Always,
