  1. The three things I hold most sacred to my heart are 1. God 2. My family 3. My friends

My faith in God has given me such strength and guidance and I am forever grateful to him for all the blessings in my life. My family and friends are my lifelines and my life support. Without them I would be completely lost. It's always nice to reflect on the things we hold closest because I know I sometimes take them for granted.

Those hearts are gorgeous! Thanks for the sweet giveaway Lu!

is difficult to choose three, there are several sacred things but here goes:
the three most sacred things in my heart
    1 - God
2 - all my family and my dog
    3 - Animals and nature

I think we love this world and start over by nature, animals, because if we love those we love God and our family is what our dear God wants for our lives, I would like to have children but I can not enjoy my nephews, I have the desire to be a mother, if I'll make it nose
I wish you a day full of blessings

    1. My 4 beautiful children-ages 20, 17, 13 and 1.
    2. My husband
    3. Friends and family.

I put my children first because having a 1 yr old after such a big age gap has made me realize how fast time goes. I am able to enjoy my youngest more but he has also made me cherish my older children even more.

I hold my husband sacred because he made me realize that I can trust and love again after a lot of heart. He also gave me another baby when I didn't think I could.

Friends and family are just what it's all about. Everyone you love and who loves you are blessings.

    3. My friends who accept me for who I am, they are always there for me and support me through the fun times and also the sad and lonely times too.

  63. Sweet Lulu - first of all, LOVE LOVE LOVE the pictures of you. I'm so like you - I'd rather be behind the lens than the subject of the photos. What an amazing giveaway for your 100th post! Such fun. And I love the 3 things question!

I'd say the three things I hold dear:

    1. My relationship with the Lord. He is big enough to care for me and to understand when I get angry at his plan - that doesn't always make sense to this silly human.

    2. My husband and daughter. Even though our plans were to have a gaggle of children and a large family, I've come to really cherish these two that the Lord has picked out for me, at this time.

    3. My relationships. Girlfriends, childhood friends, siblings that are now my friends, my nephews, my parents - all of these relationships that have been cultivated and refined me as a person - all have made me who I am!!

Of course I'm a follower, and will also post right now about your FABULOUS giveaway!! xoxo

  64. Three things...just three? God, thru him all things are possible and thru him I find strength to battle on and love the life he gives me. My family, husband Ron and daughter Evalyn. My two gifts. The two people who have saved my life. And a little piece of land in a beautiful Valley in Washington state that raised me. The fields of grass and horses grazing have inspired me as I became a woman and when Life is hard...I run home. When life is good...I run home. It's amazing! They are my heart in all ways.

Thank you for sharing such a great give away and introducing us to so many wonderful things.

  67. Thank you for this delightful giveaway! I adore hearts -- the pulse of life. The 3 things I hold dearest to my heart are...

    1. God. Without God, life would have no meaning.
    2. God's greatest gift is love. Family, friends and animals. I cannot imagine what life would be like without love. Bleak, lonely and dark.
    3. Beauty. From a rose petal, to a snowflake, to a sunset, to the frills of a tutu, to the softness of lambs wool, to hearing the notes of a violin being tickled by bow, to the sounds of laughter, to sunlight filtering through prism and watching a rainbow of color dance across the room, beauty can be found everywhere.

    3. Being unconditional to myself: loving myself as I am regardless of weight, size, etc. believing in my capacity to navigate life as a single mom, knowing I always do everything to the best of my ability, etc.
Have a wonderful weekend! Warm greetings from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico ~

  69. Woo to the hoo on 100 posts! Those who blog understand writing that many posts is no easy accomplishment. The time it takes to sit down, think, type and come up with a great one is tough. This one was great!
Three things huh? Tough call, but here goes.
    1. The Trinity...God who created me, Jesus who redeemed me and the Holy Spirit that sustains me.
    2. My family who defines me. When I say family...I include those who aren't necessarily "blood" relatives...but should be.
    3. Today...the pleasure of waking up each morning to a clean slate and the opportunity to write on it.

Thanks for doing this post. It made me sit down and reflect on what really matters most to me.

  74. Lulu, To come up with my list, I thought about three things that really touched my heart recently and what that must mean. First, I take care of a ferrel kitty who is still very wild. When he was injured recently, I trapped him and took him to the vet and then confined him to a posh kitty apartment in my garage while his injuries healed. I was moved when he calmly let me clean his face with a cotton wipe, and then licked my face in return. Second, I was in a store recently and saw a pretty little baby girl in the shopping cart. Her mother was a few feet away and not paying attention. I spoke to the little girl, and she reached out and grabbed by finger and held on with a smile. She had Down syndrome. The little girl melted my heart. Finally, when my friend's father passed away last week, she told me she laid down next to him when the time was near. She said she remembered that I told her I was with my father and held his hand at that time. My heart went out to her because I knew what she experienced and what it would mean to her forever. So, from these three things, I would say I hold sacred every living creature because they all have the capacity to love; and in partular every child because they are innocent and should be protected; and friends and family because we can give each other what we need with just a touch and a word. Sappy, yes, I know! Have a wonderful weekend.

  75. My 3 sacred things:
    1. God: the epicenter of everything that follows.
    2. Family (including those in my home, across the country, relatives, and friends...both the family that we are raised inside of and the family we create as we move through life)
    3. My passion, my mission my work. From helping others through their most painful personal experiences in my "day job" which I am blessed because it is also my passion and deeply felt mission in life...to writing, and creating in a variety of artistic endeavors..writing being the nearest to my heart and the way I relay that which I learn in life in another way.

  76. 1. Faith, Hope and Charity... I try to live by this daily

    2. Family... those here on earth that encourage, inspire and make my days worthy of being, trying and doing... and those not here; but, still guide me to do well

    3. Work.. not just the daily 8 hours that enables me to try to make ends meet... but, the work with my hands, the touches I add to our home, the flowers that bloom and fabric that use to see something and create...

Thanks for letting me list these... sometimes, in the daily "daily" I forget to be ever thankful and am just trying to make it to the next moment, hour, day or the weekend...
