 A tasty giveaway…
Girard’s Premium Dressings. Created In San Francisco in 1939.
“Without compromise, Girard’s Salad Dressings are prepared with the finest and freshest
ingredients that please even the most discriminating palates.”
A brief history.
In 1939, famed French Chef Pierre Girard created Girard’s, the maker of America’s
favorite salad dressing, in the heart of San Francisco. Chef Girard began with a recipe for his popular Original
French dressing. He gradually expanded the brand with many tantalizing and unique varieties.
Over the decades, Girard’s Salad Dressings prominence for their superior quality and distinctive triangular
glass bottle.  In 1991, Girard’s was acquired by the T. Mazetti Company, head-quartered in Columbus Ohio. T.
Mazetti founded in 1896, is Americas leading manufacturer in specialty foods!!

Girard’s has partnered with Epicurious.com to create the Everyday Elegance, which combines recipes and
cooking tips with guest entertaining and family mealtime advice while offering readers new ways to
experience Girard’s beyond the tossed salad.
They sent information on ways to host and elegant affair, recipes, and ways of setting and elegant dinner table,
that I will be sharing with you.
Here is a tip:
The key to an elegant table setting is balance. Everything on the table must be geometrically spaced
at equal distances and all flatware balanced. And if you forget some of the details, always remember that you
eat to your left, drink to your right and that you use the silverware farthest from your plate first---you’ll get the
table setting right!

You know how a salad never seems as good at home as it does out some place. I think it is because of the salad dressings. Would love to try one of these.
