My favorite for now…
I love the crazy lines and shapes in coral, something about them is so soothing..Of course pairing all white together is my favorite..with a touch of contrast..and some ironstone..
I will be showing some different vignettes with white coral in post’s to come ..Perfect for spring and summer..
Have a Beautiful Day!!
~lulu

Lulu the coral is so pretty and I am loving the old silver tray you have it on! Wow it looks great!
ReplyDeleteI am wondering if you can find coral at the beaches down there in Tx? My grandparents used to live in Galveston (sp?) but we only were there a time or 2 when I was small and didn't think about hunting for treasures on the beach. come to think of it I don't think my Mom let me near the water she is so terrified of it!

Every year my family goes to Florida...it is a tradition my grandfather started and my dad will forever keep. And every year my mom and I go to the same little haunt for our treasures. And every year I buy some coral. I am in complete agreement with you...the texture, the color, the natural perfection of it even being flawed...LOVELY.
ReplyDeleteFYI --- you make some of the most lovely vignettes. Your pictures are always inspiring.
Cheers~

ReplyDeleteHi Lulu, Thanks for Dreamy Whites for pointing me in your direction. I also have a love of coral and has some for sale in a little shop that I have. When I went in today, all the coral sold. I can't wait til my next installment comes in. Your photos are beautiful. I also had mine displayed on a silver tray. I'm adding you to my blog list. :)

I love the white of the shells against the tarnished silver. It is nice to know that I am not the only one who likes to use silver in our homes, but not the kind Grandma polished all the time. Love the home, beautiful pictures.
