Transferware & Willow

Another Random Post..

I love to collect transferware. It comes in a few different colors. Transfer printing was originally produced in single-color items only, with the favorite hues in blue, red, black, brown, purple and green. Brown tended to be rather a common and inexpensive color, while blue was the most sought after and expensive color.

 Brown Transferware is great to add with White Ironstone for the winter..

  1. Brown transferware is my favorite too. I am currently on the look out for yellow with terra cotta transferware Spode dishes for a friend of mine.
