Hi everyone! I wanted to share this simple organic chicken salad with a fresh dressing.
Someone special made this for me! So, I made it for you my special friends!
Its so easy and healthy. I will be adding a cooking page to my blog and
also a gardening page, as well as a few others, With tips and how-to's
I can’t wait to share it with you.
I try to use organic ingredient’s whenever possible!
Ingredients:
Last nights organic roasted chicken (chopped)
Organic mixed greens (chopped)
Organic sweet tomatoes (quartered)
Organic Cucumbers (sliced)
Simple Dressing:
Olive oil
Lemon Juice
Salt & Pepper ( it is very important to taste as you go)
Sometimes, I top it with organic parmesan cheese, it is delicious!
For dessert!
I love chocolate covered strawberries. I feel like I am cheating because,
I eat my yummy fruits with a little bit of chocolate and I don’t feel so bad.
I am sure you all know how to melt chocolate on a double boiler, but I wanted
to share how important it is to melt the chocolate on low heat, slowly,
and use a plastic spatula!
I used organic strawberries and often switch between semi sweet
chocolates and Godiva chocolate. Here I used semi sweet.
Yummy, my son loves these.
Happy Valentine’s Week!
So fresh and yummy!
ReplyDeleteAnother trick for dipping strawberries is to freeze your strawberries for a bit then dip them in that "magic shell" stuff that you find in the dessert section at the store. Its a quick substitute when you need that chocolate "fix"!
